"good job guys... the song and dance were great! i appreciate evry1's hard work!" - Andrew
I will echo the same thing to those who have participated in the Easter Sunday's performance. You guys did a good job. All glory to God as some adults gave us good comments. I hope your Holy Week echoed the same thing in your walk with God - Great.
Now, as for those who did not participate in the performance. Sorry, i had to say this. Those who had no choice, i understand. Relax.
Have you seen the performance and the hard work we did to put up this together? I hope you understand that we are not super-talented or super-experienced in anyway. We just worked out the fullest and gave our best to God. God did the rest. So, in everything you do, please do the same.
Also.
Commitment is needed to keep this youth strong, let alone growing. Dedication and desperation is needed so that God moves in our midst. Yet, i am not interested in either of that. I'm interested in YOU. I might be the missions director, but i think missions start with OUR OWN LIVES. My concern is the attitude you do things and of your condition and welfare. You see, so many of you don't come regularly. As such, those who are concerned of what's going on in your life simply cause WE CARE like me, Andrew or Uncle Chie, can't know for sure if you don't participate. Once we finish up the contacts list, i'm sure we will put aside our already squeezed schedule to call to check out your condition, but we still wouldn't know for sure exactly what is going on if you don't come and if you don't open up. And that is the problem with our jobs here has the MYF committee. We are happy and privileged to take up the job, but we can't fulfill the task. If you can't, we understand, but if you can but are not coming, then what are you doing??? Also, if you don't dedicate some time to God, then where is God in your life and how can you be His tool?
I hope this questions stay in your heart for the whole of this week and longer if necessary. This Sunday, we will resume our regular activity, albeit cut short to make way for MYF Sunday practice which is coming on MAY 17th. So do come. This week's topic will be Check It Out - Laminin. It will be slightly out of the ordinary so do be prepared. Yes, i'm in charge. I hope whatever is coming will touch and move you guys. That's all from me for this week.
